MAJESTIC ZAMBIA

This luxury safari itinerary provides the opportunity to enjoy three of Zambia's fantastic National Parks. Charter flights between each camp will take you to your destination faster to enjoy more time doing what you love on the ground. The high-end camps provide luxurious accommodation with top quality food in areas that are more exclusive.

For 4 nights in the Busanga Plains in the Kafue National Park you will enjoy stunning tented luxury at Mukambi Plains Camp in one of the most beautiful parts of Zambia, rich in animal density and numbers. The camp is owner run and has been established in the Busanga as one of the oldest camps.

The next charter flight will take you to the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park onto the banks of the mighty Zambezi River to Potato Bush for 4 nights. Tastefully designed rooms done by our very own Annekim of Wild N' Beyond Safaris show an authentic look but with an upmarket feel. Each room has their own private plunge pool. A stunning setting in a secluded and well shaded area of the park. A Muchinda (or butler) will take care of your every need and make sure you are truly spoilt.

Another short charter flight will take you to Kapamba airstrip in the South Luangwa National Park, where we will be driven to Chamilandu Bushcamp, a lovely small camp on the Luangwa River. This is one of the oldest camps in the southern area of the park and in a fantastic area for walking and game viewing. Chamilandu has its own viewing hide in camp to pass away the afternoon and also a treat for a lunch away from the main area. This will be the last 4 nights of your trip.

RETURN TO THE WILDERNESS

One of the essences of safari is getting in touch with the natural world and experiencing the splendors of what each day has to offer. This safari is a blend of comfortable rustic beauty and the heart of the wildlife safari. Both properties are owner run by passionate people who are driven to protect the natural world and bring it to their guests in the true way of bygone eras.

Jeffery and McKeith run two camps in the Kafue National Park that are Musekese Camp, their flagship, and Ntemwa Camp on the southern section of the famous Busanga plains. They are intimate tented and grass reed structures, reminiscent of traditional safaris. Their link with conservation makes a part of the contribution with staying at these camps going back into the protection of the wildlife and ecosystems.

Tusk and Mane also offer two camps with the possibility of a sleep out on another site and these camps are on the banks of the beautiful Zambezi River. In the rooms you can open the blinds, so you see a 360-degree view of your surrounds and the possibility of wildlife visitors outside are a common occurrence.  A real drive for traditional wildlife experiences that focus on what guests want in an incredibly scenic environment.

The diversity of activities gives this an experience that will offer a range of stimulation. The Kafue National Park is Zambia’s largest and one of Africa’s largest National Parks and the two camps are in two very different ecosystems. From the waters of the Kafue River, walking the grassland of the Eden lagoon and surrounds to the vast majestic beauty of the awestriking Busanga Plains in the north of the park there is a variety to do by boat, on foot or just staying with the vehicle and soaking it all in.

The Lower Zambezi National Park is a part of a special ecosystem on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, one of the most beautiful of Zambia’s National Parks. Here there is so much to offer rich in large wildlife and small, on the water or on land you can experience many in a variety of different ways. Take to the water by boat, drift through the channels or main river by canoe or walk the stunning Winterthorn (Faidherbia albida) groves and by vehicle watch many a scene unfolds before you.

Your trip with us will include private guiding by James, all domestic flights, accommodation, meals, local drinks, activities, national park fees and government charges.

Exclusions will be international flights, staff tips, and personal items such as souvenirs. Government imposed increase of taxes and/or park fees as well as airline imposed increase in flight rates which may lead to higher costs.
